Paradise Group employs up to 20 fulltime staff in our Landscaping Departments. Our staff are highly qualified and undergo training on a regular basis to keep up to date with procedures and standards in their area of expertise. With qualified Landscapers and Machinery Operators our Landscaping Department is equipped to undertake projects ranging in size from residential landscaping to larger projects such as 97 house residential estate in Larrakeyah Barracks, Rosebery Primary & Middle Schools, SkyCity Casino Lagoon Development and the Australian Centre for Indigenous Knowledge and Education and more recently Menzies School of Health. Previous Landscaping and Irrigation projects with ongoing Maintenance include Darwin Convention Centre, Medina and Vibe Hotels at Darwin’s Waterfront and Palmerston Magpies Football Club A.F.L. Oval. Previous and current clients include the Northern Territory Government, Defence Housing Australia, Darwin and Palmerston City Councils and major building contractors such as Laing O’Rourke, Sitzler Bros, Halikos Group, and John Holland.
SkyCity Casino - Lagoon Resort
Landscaped while under construction for John Holland, SkyCity Casino's Lagoon Resort covers over 2 Acres of manicured lawns and gardens set around Darwin's only 5 star beachfront resort.
Australian Centre for Indigenous Knowledge and Education (ACIKE)
Completed for Matrix Projects, ACIKE's culturally sensitive design features outdoor spaces for ceremonial gatherings, dances and performances which are linked by a series of interconnected ponds and creeks which wind there way through the landscape.
The Quarter - Casuarina Square Entertainment Precinct
Landscaped for Mainbrace Constructions, The Precincts outdoor play area with features climbing globe, slides, climbing wall and sensory activities along with a water play maze with large granite spinning ball. All civic spaces are connected by natural stone "crazy paving" surrounded by mature landscaping and incorporated "green wall".
Menzies School of Health
Completing the landscape over 2 site for Lahey Constructions, the landscape design utilizes advanced palms and gabion basket walls which feature heavily in the landscape. This provides a modern, contemporary look that also compliments the sites location and existing surrounds.
Northline Oval - Palmerston Magpies Football Club
Designed and constructed on behalf of Halikos Constructions, Palmerston Magpies Football Clubs Northline Oval is a sand profile A.F.L. professional grade playing surface. Located on the grounds of C.D.U.'s Palmerston Campus, the ground covers 22,000m2.
Schools and Playgrounds
Paradise Group's Landscaping Department has undertaken numerous school and playground projects. Creating practical, creative spaces for all ages and abilities for clients such as ABC Early Learning Centres, Rosebery Primary and Middle Schools, Wulagi Primary School, Larrakeyah Barracks and Casuarina Squares - The Quarter.
